The Shirley M. Kimble Training Center offers dynamic, quality continuing education to healthcare providers and basic training for lay rescuers. Established in 1992, our center has grown to more than 400 affiliated instructors who train more than 5,000 participants annually. WVU Safety and Health Extension (S&HE), in conjunction with the Shirley M. Kimble Training Center, offers basic and advanced life support classes. Courses include American Heart Association- ACLS, PALS, PEARS, Heartsaver First Aid/CPR, BLS CPR. As well as Safe Sitter; PEPP; GEMS; AMLS; PHTLS; EMT-Basic, EMR, and EMT Mining.
