Medication Administration Epi only for Child Care Description Information Medication Administration Epi only for Child Care Administration of Epinephrine Refresher course for Child Care Providers (Epi only) training approved and required by the state of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood and the Care 4 Kids program. This certificate is valid for 1 year for injectable medication by a pre-measured commercially prepared syringe (Epi). This 1-hour course requires a prerequisite, students must have completed the Full Medication Administration 3-hour course within the past 1 to 2 years. The lecture portion of this course is usually taught through Zoom, unless otherwise specified. Students must score an 82% or higher on the written test to receive their certificate. Students received an 8” x 11” Medication Administration Certificate for injectable medication by a pre-measured commercially prepared syringe (Epi only). Medication administration for Child Care Providers Description Information Medication administration for Child Care Providers Administration of Medication (Full Med Cert) training course for Child Care Providers; is a three hour course required and approved by the state of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood & the Care 4 Kids program. The certificate is valid for 3 years for oral, topical, and inhalant medications and 1 year for injectable medication by a pre-measured commercially prepared syringe (Epi).
