HSI BLS CPR Renewal Description Information HSI BLS CPR Renewal Students renew their skills on how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support (CPR) and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking. ASHI's BLS for the Professional Rescuer has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

HSI CPR/AED/First Aid (Combo) Description Information HSI CPR/AED/First Aid (Combo) ASHI CPR and AED is a combined CPR and AED program designed specifically for laypeople. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.

Emergency Medical Technician Description Information Emergency Medical Technician The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) curriculum is a 220-hour core curriculum of minimum required information to prepare students to seek qualification as an EMT. The curriculum is intended to prepare a medically competent EMT to operate in the field. Enrichment programs and continuing education will help fulfill other specific needs for the EMT education. This course is broken down into 140 hours classroom (virtual) and 80 hours practical "hands-on" training. Prerequisite: Minimum age – Must be 16 years of age at time of completion
