BLS CPR Online Key Code - PART 1 Description Information BLS CPR Online Key Code - PART 1 This is a blended learning course for BLS (CPR) for Healthcare Provider certification. It consists of an online didactic learning and testing portion - PART 1; and a classroom skills session – PART 2. AHA Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED Description Information AHA Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED Approximately a 3-4 hour comprehensive course designed to teach members of the general public correct CPR techniques for use on adults, children and infants ages 0 – 12 months. The course also covers use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) as an important part of the CPR sequence for adults, children and infants. Students learn how to relieve choking in a responsive or unresponsive adult, child and infant, and how to use a barrier device to prevent contamination during rescue breathing. This course satisfies the CPR requirement for child care providers in the State of Maryland. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certification card valid for two years.

AHA Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED Description Information AHA Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED Approximately a 3-4 hour comprehensive course designed to teach members of the general public correct CPR techniques for use on adults, children and infants ages 0 – 12 months. The course also covers use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) as an important part of the CPR sequence for adults, children and infants. Students learn how to relieve choking in a responsive or unresponsive adult, child and infant, and how to use a barrier device to prevent contamination during rescue breathing. NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Description Information NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program This program is intended for healthcare providers who participate in neo-natal resuscitation in the delivery room, newborn nursery or emergency settings. AHA First Aid Description Information AHA First Aid Approximately a 3 hour course designed to teach members of the general public how to assess and treat injuries and medical or environmental emergencies until professional help arrives. Skills focus on keeping the rescuer safe, while providing life-saving assistance to patients of all ages, in a variety of scenarios.
