CPR/AED/BLS Instructor Description Information CPR/AED/BLS Instructor The CPR Instructor program is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of teaching Basic Life Support to a variety of audiences. The program offers a two-year instructorship through the American Heart Association. Successful completion of this course allows the participant to teach CPR and offer AHA course completion cards to lay rescuers and health professionals. This program consists of one session at-home program where students complete a DVD or CD-ROM based CORE Instructor program, followed by a one-day classroom session detailing administrative policies, the practice-while-watching system, and other logistics of training. Please Note: Registrations must be prepaid for this program, and because a significant amount value of materials needs to be pre-mailed to students, a $90 cancellation fee is charged for students who receive materials but do not attend the program.

NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Description Information NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an educational program jointly sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) along with the American Heart Association (AHA). ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course Description Information ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course ENPC is a 16-hour course designed to provide core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting. The course presents a systematic assessment model, integrates the associated anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and identifies appropriate interventions. Triage categorization and prevention strategies are included in the course content. TNCC-Trauma Nurse Core Course Description Information TNCC-Trauma Nurse Core Course Trauma nursing as a discipline refers to the process and content of all the different roles nurses have in the care of the trauma patient. Knowledge is the core of any discipline. The purpose of TNCC is to present core-level knowledge, refine skills, and build a firm foundation in trauma nursing. NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Description Information NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an educational program jointly sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) along with the American Heart Association (AHA). The course has been designed to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn to hospital staff who care for newborns at the time of delivery, including physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists. Since the inception of the NRP in 1987, over 3 million individuals in the United States and a countless number of individuals abroad have been trained in NRP. ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course Description Information ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course ENPC is a 16-hour course designed to provide core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting. The course presents a systematic assessment model, integrates the associated anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and identifies appropriate interventions. Triage categorization and prevention strategies are included in the course content.
