ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course Description Information ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course ENPC is a 16-hour course designed to provide core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting. The course presents a systematic assessment model, integrates the associated anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and identifies appropriate interventions. Triage categorization and prevention strategies are included in the course content. CPR/AED/BLS Instructor Description Information CPR/AED/BLS Instructor The CPR Instructor program is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of teaching Basic Life Support to a variety of audiences. The program offers a two-year instructorship through the American Heart Association. Successful completion of this course allows the participant to teach CPR and offer AHA course completion cards to lay rescuers and health professionals. This program consists of one session at-home program where students complete a DVD or CD-ROM based CORE Instructor program, followed by a one-day classroom session detailing administrative policies, the practice-while-watching system, and other logistics of training. NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Description Information NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an educational program jointly sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) along with the American Heart Association (AHA). TNCC-Trauma Nurse Core Course Description Information TNCC-Trauma Nurse Core Course Trauma nursing as a discipline refers to the process and content of all the different roles nurses have in the care of the trauma patient. Knowledge is the core of any discipline. The purpose of TNCC is to present core-level knowledge, refine skills, and build a firm foundation in trauma nursing. CPR/AED/BLS Instructor Description Information CPR/AED/BLS Instructor The CPR Instructor program is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of teaching Basic Life Support to a variety of audiences. The program offers a two-year instructorship through the American Heart Association. Successful completion of this course allows the participant to teach CPR and offer AHA course completion cards to lay rescuers and health professionals. This program consists of one session at-home program where students complete a DVD or CD-ROM based CORE Instructor program, followed by a one-day classroom session detailing administrative policies, the practice-while-watching system, and other logistics of training. Emergency Medical Technician Description Information Emergency Medical Technician EMT Programs typically run for 2-3 months, and contain instruction necessary to prepare a student to function as an Emergency Medical Technician. ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course Description Information ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course ENPC is a 16-hour course designed to provide core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting. The course presents a systematic assessment model, integrates the associated anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and identifies appropriate interventions. ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course Description Information ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course ENPC is a 16-hour course designed to provide core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting. The course presents a systematic assessment model, integrates the associated anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and identifies appropriate interventions. Triage categorization and prevention strategies are included in the course content. ENPC is taught using a variety of formats, including lectures, videotapes and includes skill stations that encourage participants to integrate their psychomotor abilities into a patient situation in a risk-free setting.
