Hybrid-Online Emergency Medical Technician Description Information Hybrid-Online Emergency Medical Technician The Emergency Medical Technician course is designed to help prepare students to perform as entry level Emergency Medical Technicians. Our course follows the National EMS Educational Guidelines to prepare students for their National Registry of EMT certification examinations. The Hybrid course meets in person every other Saturday or Sunday for an eight-hour skills review session and on some weeknights. All dates listed on the registration are in person dates. For a class to be conducted a minimum registration must be met prior to the start of class. Students must be present for all of the skills days in order to complete the course. Please review your schedule prior to signing up for a class to make sure you are able to commit to all of the dates. The online component is extremely intense. Students should plan on spending 6-12 hours a week online. Students must be able to manage weekly deadlines and self-paced learning. Instructors are available by phone, email, and in-person to help assist students with course material or to help trouble shoot. You must have a computer and internet access for this course.
