Heartsaver CPR/AED Description Information Heartsaver CPR/AED Heartsaver® CPR AED is a CPR course for "non-licensed" staff who need a course completion card. It is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, Child, and Infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.

ACLS Full 2 Day * New prework video required* Description Information ACLS Full 2 Day * New prework video required* The ACLS provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. Providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA and asystole), four types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes) and stroke. Geared towards ALS providers; RN, MD, DO, PA, NP, MICP, MICN

BLS Provider Description Information BLS Provider This course is Intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified and licensed healthcare professionals. The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO).
