ACLS Provider Description Information ACLS Provider The ACLS provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate/manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. BLS Provider CPR Description Information BLS Provider CPR The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It's intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.

Note: The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. In this Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam. This course is open to the public that have never taken this course before and students that are looking to renew. There are no prerequisites. This course is geared towards anyone in healthcare or looking to enter the healthcare field.
