BLS Instructor Course Description Information BLS Instructor Course Become an AHA BLS Instructor through NIHE’s Instructor Foundation Package. This comprehensive package includes AHA BLS Instructor Essentials, live instructor training, required monitored student teaching, NIHE Instructor Orientation, and Training Center alignment with NIHE upon successful completion of all requirements. Unlike many instructor programs that only provide certification, this package also includes instructor startup resources designed to help you begin teaching successfully, including business guidance, marketing tools, and instructor development resources. A current AHA BLS Provider card is required for enrollment. Because instructor scheduling is based on required AHA instructor-to-student ratios, cancellation requires 30 days written notice and applicable fees may apply.

ACLS Instructor Course Description Information ACLS Instructor Course The ACLS Instructor course package meets the AHA requirements for the issuance of an AHA ACLS Instructor card. Upon completion of this course package you will be affiliated with NIHE as your AHA Training Center. This course includes ACLS Instructor classroom course & the mandatory ACLS Instructor student teaching. You must successfully complete the Instructor Essentials and the NIHE Instructor Orientation course that are required and included in this course package. You MUST have a current ACLS Provider card to attend this class. We book our instructors based on our student registrations in order to maintain mandatory AHA instructor/student ratios. Therefore, you must give us 30 days written notice to cancel this class. If you do, you will receive a refund minus all of the following: $100 processing fee, $75 for the Instructor Essentials and $125 for the Instructor Orientation which are non-refundable, & $100 for the Instructor manual. If you return the ACLS Instructor manual unopened you will receive a $20 refund for it. You must be a current AHA BLS Instructor in order to take this class.

PALS Instructor Course Description Information PALS Instructor Course The PALS Instructor course meets the AHA requirements for the issuance of an AHA PALS Instructor card. Note: This is the AHA PALS Instructor course. You must be a current AHA PALS Provider and have a current AHA BLS Instructor card to be eligible to take this class. This course includes the PALS Instructor manual, the one day PALS Instructor course, the mandatory student teaching, and the mandatory AHA Training Center affiliation for 1 year. Please study the current PALS Provider manual as you will be required to pass the AHA PALS Provider exam with a score of 90% or better at the beginning of the class. If you do not pass you will be asked to reschedule. There is a $50 rescheduling fee. We book our instructors based on our student registrations in order to maintain mandatory AHA instructor/student ratios. Therefore, you must give us 30 days written notice to cancel any class in order to receive a full refund minus a $100 service charge. You may reschedule for a $50 rescheduling fee.
