NRP Provider & Renewal--Essentials & Advanced Inst Description Information NRP Provider & Renewal--Essentials & Advanced Inst American Academy of Pediatrics has modified NRP effective immediately. It now includes three parts. Self-study of the current NRP guidelines as found in the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation 8th edition, two online NRP Online Exams (Essentials & Advanced) that cover all chapters of the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation, and a Instructor Led Event that includes classroom skills demo & practice, & simulation and debriefing session. Online curriculum is not included in this course. The American Academy of Pediatrics Self-study Textbook for Neonatal Resuscitation 8th edition is available as an E-book or in soft cover. If you do not have access to the eighth edition NRP Textbook and feel that you need it for review it can be purchased separately. PALS Update/Recert Description Information PALS Update/Recert The PALS course covers: pediatric emergencies, concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric, assessment, BLS, PALS treatment algorithm, effective resuscitation, team dynamics. PALS training is intended for healthcare professionals required to initiate, participate, or direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for a PALS Card. This course is open to ALL students new, current, and expired. PALS Update/Recert Description Information PALS Update/Recert The PALS course covers: pediatric emergencies, concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric, assessment, BLS, PALS treatment algorithm, effective resuscitation, team dynamics. PALS training is intended for healthcare professionals required to initiate, participate, or direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for a PALS Card. This course is open to ALL students new, current, and expired. However, if you do not have a current PALS card you will not be eligible for remediation on either the written or skills exams. All students must have a current AHA PALS Provider manual at their PALS class. You must give us 30 days written notice to cancel as all of our instructors are booked based on the number of students registerered in order to receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee.

ACLS Renewal Description Information ACLS Renewal ACLS Update/Renewal is designed for healthcare providers who have a current AHA ACLS card. You may attend this course if you do not have a current AHA ACLS card but if you do not pass either the written exam or the megacode testing you MAY NOT be remediated.
