The Office of EMS permits authorized Hybrid programs to enter into agreements with other training centers or EMT instructors to use their content. This means you can offer Hybrid EMT Refresher sessions without the burden of creating, approving, and updating course content, maintaining a Learning Management platform, or providing technical support to students with computer difficulties.

Providing Hybrid format EMT refreshers has the benefit of:

9 hours of less payroll per instructor on every complete A-B-C EMT refresher
You can schedule two modules of EMT Refresher back-to-back (OEMS already approved this) if you want to. So, if you are willing to put in a 10-hour day, you can do more with a day of EMT instructor availability.
More flexibility for students to take online content on their own time
Less lecturing making for easier staffing of EMT refreshers since EMT instructors need not be skilled lecturers to run a hybrid refresher session

THERE ARE TWO MODELS FOR USING OUR EMT REFRESHER:

LICENSED PROVIDER

(Ideal for high-volume centers)

 Host our content on the Training Center Manager platform we provide

 Process, schedule, and service unlimited students as the only point of contact

 Schedule unlimited Didactic and Skills sessions and collect student registrations online

 Provide online transcripts, course completion certificates, and 24x7 access to course records for students

 Collect fees for online Didactic modules as well as Skills modules using our platform

 You provide remediation to students who do

not pass the online exam.

Your Cost:

$500/month for unlimited sessions of all three Hybrid courses (A, B, and C)

REFERRAL PROVIDER

(Ideal for lower volume trainers)

 Refer students to a specific non-branded Hybrid Refresher site where your students pay for and take the online Didactic component

 Students bring you completion certificates from the Hybrid Refresher site to get access to your Hybrid skills session.

 You store course completion certificates along with other course paperwork for OEMS audit.

 We provide 1-on-1 remediation for students that do not pass the online exam as per OEMS requirement.

Your Cost:

$0 – students pay us directly for their online education

Both methods come with full instructor support, course mapping, and OEMS compliance assistance.
