PALS Renewal Description Information PALS Renewal Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

BLS Accelerated HeartCode Skills Session Description Information BLS Accelerated HeartCode Skills Session The accelerated HeartCode BLS Competency Course is only intended for providers who are experienced in the skills of basic life support, are RENEWING their CURRENT AHA BLS course completion card, and have successfully completed the online portion of HeartCode BLS. AHA’s Heartcode Basic Life Support (BLS) online course trains healthcare professionals and others to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in in-facility and prehospital settings. First complete the online Heartcode BLS course, available separately at www.onlineaha.org, including the course exam. After completing the online portion, students must attend a hands-on Skills practice and testing Session. The Heartcode certificate of completion must be presented at the Skills Session.
