S.T.A.B.L.E. – a mnemonic for; Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work and Emotional Support are the six essential assessments developed in this course to assist with the retention and recall of stabilization activities essential to provide care to a sick and/or premature infant. This 6th Edition program is designed for the period following resuscitation of the newborn until transferred to a neonatal transport team or neonatal ICU. The focus being post-resuscitation care of sick neonates including physical assessment, problem recognition and patient management.

Upon successful exam completion, learners attend a course for skills training, simulation, and debriefing.
