PALS Update/Recert Description Information PALS Update/Recert The PALS course covers: pediatric emergencies, concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric, assessment, BLS, PALS treatment algorithm, effective resuscitation, team dynamics. PALS training is intended for healthcare professionals required to initiate, participate, or direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for a PALS Card. This course is open to ALL students new, current, and expired. However, if you do not have a current PALS card you will not be eligible for remediation on either the written or skills exams. All students must have a current AHA PALS Provider manual at their PALS class. You must give us 30 days written notice to cancel as all of our instructors are booked based on the number of students registerered in order to receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee.

PALS Online with Skills Description Information PALS Online with Skills You are registered for AHA PALS Online Heartcode with Skills Check which has 2 parts: online class and Skill evaluation. You will receive an email with information on how to access the online portion within 7 business days. You must complete both portions of the course to receive your AHA PALS card. Please call 800-773-8895 to confirm the location & start time for your skill check. If you need a card in a hurry we offer Private Skill Checks for an additional $250. Please call 800-773-8895 to book your Private Skill Check and get your AHA PALS card the same day! We book our instructors based on our student registrations in order to maintain mandatory AHA instructor/student ratios. Therefore, you must give us 30 days written notice to reschedule any class in order to receive a full refund minus a $50 service charge. Please send all requests for a refund to NIHE, 1498 E.
