ACLS Renewal Description Information ACLS Renewal ACLS Update/Renewal is designed for healthcare providers who have a current AHA ACLS card. You may attend this course if you do not have a current AHA ACLS card but if you do not pass either the written exam or the megacode testing you MAY NOT be remediated. The ACLS course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. We believe in NO STRESS education for healthcare professionals. We teach how to be part of a knowledgeable team to provide high quality resuscitation care for your patients. Our goal is to teach you how to function within your role and scope of practice. There is a mandatory pre-course assessment that must be completed prior to attending this class at www.heart.org/eccstudent keycode: acls15. All students must have a current AHA ACLS Provider manual with them in the class. ACLS Skills Check Description Information ACLS Skills Check This is the ACLS Skill Check portion of the two part AHA ACLS Heartcode course. Part 1 is completed online and part two is a live skill check. If you need to purchase both parts please register for the ACLS Online with Skill Check course not just this Skill Check. You must register and pay for this class by calling 800-773-8895 or going to www.nationalhearted.com/aclsonline.html You must complete both portions of the course to receive your AHA ACLS card. Once you complete the online portion you must register for a skills check at any one of our class locations. Like all of our courses this is a "NO STRESS" class. The online portion of this class online works on PC & Apple computers. We book our instructors based on our student registrations, in order to maintain mandatory AHA instructor/student ratios. Therefore, you must give us 30 days written notice to reschedule any class in order to receive a full refund minus a $50 service charge. Please send all requests for a refund to NIHE, 1498 E.
