ACLS Description Information ACLS ACLS is designed for personnel who staff ER, ICU, or CCU departments, as well as MDs, nurses, ER technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. The ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult (VF/VT) arrest. We believe in NO STRESS education for healthcare professionals. We teach how to be part of a knowledgeable team to provide high quality resuscitation care for your patients. Our goal is to teach you how to function within your role and scope of practice. This class is open to all new, current and expired students. There is a mandatory pre-course assessment that must be completed prior to attending this class athttps://elearning.heart.org/course/423 . All students must have a current AHA ACLS Provider manual with them in the class. ACLS Renewal Description Information ACLS Renewal ACLS Update/Renewal is designed for healthcare providers who have a current AHA ACLS card. You may attend this course if you do not have a current AHA ACLS card but if you do not pass either the written exam or the megacode testing you MAY NOT be remediated. The ACLS course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. We believe in NO STRESS education for healthcare professionals. We teach how to be part of a knowledgeable team to provide high quality resuscitation care for your patients. Once you complete the online portion you must register for a skills check at any one of our class locations. Like all of our courses this is a "NO STRESS" class.
