TNCC-Trauma Nurse Core Course Description Information TNCC-Trauma Nurse Core Course Trauma nursing as a discipline refers to the process and content of all the different roles nurses have in the care of the trauma patient. Knowledge is the core of any discipline. The purpose of TNCC is to present core-level knowledge, refine skills, and build a firm foundation in trauma nursing. ENA developed and implemented the TNCC for national and international dissemination as a means of identifying a standardized body of trauma nursing knowledge. The TNCC (Provider) is a 16-hour course designed to provide the learner with cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills. The TNCC may be officially attended by registered nurses (RN's). Other health care providers may attend the course as observers.

NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Description Information NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an educational program jointly sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) along with the American Heart Association (AHA). The course has been designed to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn to hospital staff who care for newborns at the time of delivery, including physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists. Since the inception of the NRP in 1987, over 3 million individuals in the United States and a countless number of individuals abroad have been trained in NRP. The 7th Edition, released in 2016, is based on simulation methodology, enhancing development of critical leadership, communication and team work skills.
